What is Starglass made of?
Every authentic Starglass orb is handcrafted from high-clarity optical-grade glass, inlaid with genuine precious metals — solid gold and silver. No colored glass fillers, no surface paint, no cheap additives. The nebula clouds and star trails you see are formed entirely by light refracting through the metal embedded deep within the glass.
How long does it take to make one Starglass orb?
While the core forming step takes focused work time, our zero-flaw quality standard means every piece goes through multiple shaping, annealing, and inspection rounds. Even the tiniest imperfection means the piece is scrapped entirely — it never reaches our shop. When you account for rejected units and full hand-finishing, each final salable orb represents hours of artisan labor. It can never be done properly in 10–15 minutes.
Is Starglass really 100% handmade?
Yes. Every orb is individually shaped, layered, and finished by our master artisans — no mass molding, no automated production. This is also why no two pieces ever have the exact same star layout or nebula flow.
How do I clean my Starglass?
Wipe gently with a soft lint-free microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and sudden extreme temperature changes. For long-term display, keep it away from prolonged direct strong sunlight to best preserve the metal’s luster.
Will the gold/silver inside tarnish or fade?
No. The precious metals are fully encased within solid glass, sealed completely from air and moisture. With normal care, the metallic shine will stay unchanged for decades.
Can I put my Starglass in water?
The glass orb itself is water-resistant, but we do not recommend soaking or submerging it long-term — especially if it comes with a metal stand. Gentle surface wiping is always the safest cleaning method.

What if my orb arrives damaged?
Every order is carefully packed for transit. If your piece arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and item, and we will arrange a replacement or refund immediately.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on unused, undamaged standard pieces within 3 days of delivery. Custom, personalized, and limited-edition pieces are final sale.
